Self-archiving is the practice of placing digital versions of scientific literature online by authors. When authors self-archive their research, they make it freely available on the Internet. Authors of articles published in the Nigerian Stethoscope are permitted to self-archive both the submitted (preprint) and accepted (peer-reviewed) versions of the article at any time and for whatever purpose they deem fit.
